Whether you’re here to relax or explore, 30A offers something for every age—beaches, bikes, boats, and classic vacation fun. Below are some of our favorite activities for families, couples, and groups, all within an easy drive of the house.

 

🚲 On & Near 30A (Closest to the House)

Timpoochee Trail
A paved 19-mile bike path that runs the length of 30A. Seacrest Beach sits near mile marker 17.5, making this an easy and scenic ride for families. Bike to nearby beach towns, grab lunch, and cruise back at your own pace.

Peddlers Pavilion
A lively gathering spot with shops, casual food, and frequent live music. Great for souvenir shopping or an easy evening stroll with kids.

Deer Lake State Park
One of the most peaceful beaches on 30A. Bike or drive over, walk the boardwalk through massive dunes, and enjoy a quieter, more natural beach experience—excellent for families and nature lovers.

Dead Fish Charters
One of the most highly recommended boat charters in the area, launching from Grayton Beach. Great for fishing trips, dolphin spotting, and unforgettable time on the water.

30A Pontoon Rentals
Perfect for bay cruising, fishing, or a day trip to Crab Island near Destin. A favorite family activity for calm water and flexible schedules.

Pier Park
A shopping and entertainment mecca with restaurants, boutiques, arcades, and kid-friendly attractions. Great for a half-day outing.

SkyWheel Panama City Beach
Ride the giant SkyWheel, tackle the ropes course, or enjoy mini-golf—fun for all ages with amazing views.

Shipwreck Island Waterpark
A classic family favorite with slides, lazy river, and splash areas. Ideal for hot summer days.

One of our favorite parts of staying in Seacrest Beach is the incredible food scene just minutes from the house.
